Have you ever felt like your prayers weren't being answered?

Although you keep praying it seems like nothing is happening. The situation gets worse.

Right when you think you have mastered the storm the bottom falls out.

Being in the same place over and over again doesn't feel too good. You think to yourself "I've been here before. I didn't like it then and I don't like it now"

Next time when you find yourself back where you started from, pause and ask this one question. "Lord, what are you trying to teach me?"

Then let him guide you through the lesson.

Life is a lesson.

Kaiya Nicole Gibson's mom Kim and her Godbrother Kaleb Sessoms, wants to give her a shout out and a big happy birthday. Kaiya Nicole Gibson was born on September 30. She will be celebrating her 6th birthday.

Kaiya is in the 1st grade at Ocean Air Elementary School and in Kaiya words, she says "I'm gonna get that honor roll mommy!". Kaiya also dances with the praise dance team at Garrett Memorial Church in Norfolk, VA. This 6 year old is taking off!

This center is sowing seeds into our youth. Let's help them raise much needed funds by coming out on Saturday September 29, 2007.

Don't have anything to sell? That's ok. We will have tons of stuff you can buy.

Hello there,

Welcome to week # 37

As I watch and read the news I am horrified and saddened at what is reported. I would like to dedicate this weeks newsletter around 2 headlines that have caught my attention.

Information is power. Be informed.

1st Headline
Watch the video here -- Jena 6 Case - Teenagers could face up to 22 years in jail.

Now is your chance to step up and make a difference. Time out for having barber / beauty shop discussions and never do anything. If you are able to go down to Jena the day of the trial please go. Please sign the petition. But most of all please PRAY.

I have a 17yr old that has made some bad choices (which we all have made) and if it were him I would want all the support we could get.

My heart goes out to the families and to ALL of the victims.
Let's pray this choice does not have to cost these teenagers up to 22 years in prison.


2nd Headline
Another breaking headline is the story of Megan Williams of West Virginia .
According to the AP Megan Williams was kept against her will, sexually assaulted and was forced to eat rat droppings. Read entire story here.
